Make a donation

Codes d’accès produces concerts by artists with less than 10 years of active career. The artists featured are often performing for the first time outside a school context, and are paid to do so.

Every year, our partners enable us to offer more opportunities for creation, dissemination and professional development to the emerging artists we work with!

In order to represent early-career artists as adequately and fairly as possible, programmed artists are selected through a call for projects. The Artistic Committee (CArt) always makes sure to select audacious projects of high artistic quality, representative of the diversity of trends in the field of musical creation. Codes d’accès aims to encourage artistic risk-taking at the start of an artist’s career, enabling them to take their artistic approach to the next level! The organization has also developed partnerships (Centre PRIM, Groupe Le Vivier, etc.), giving artists access to material resources and personalized support during the creation of their works.

Codes d’accès offers human, material and financial support to programmed artists. Artists are also encouraged to get involved with the organization in various ways, either by sitting on the Board of Directors or on the CArt. Acquiring this kind of expertise enables emerging artists to understand the inner workings of a non-profit organization and the workings of a jury of peers. Codes d’accès is currently developing new projects that will support emerging artists in their professionalization and in expanding their network.

Every donation counts to give emerging new music artists a boost!

A one-time donation allows you to support Codes d’accès at the most convenient time of the year.

A monthly donation allows you to give a fixed amount each month which, when added up at the end of the year, will have enabled you to make a significant donation to Codes d’accès.

Are you considering making your first major donation to Codes d’accès?

The Quebec government is offering an additional tax credit of 25% to increase cultural donations!

The following conditions apply:

  • The donation must be between $5,000 and $25,000 inclusive;
  • The donation must be made by an individual after July 3, 2013;
  • The donation must be made to a registered charitable organization working in Quebec in the arts or culture;
  • The donor has not benefited from this credit in the past
